RAID data recovery

When we work on complicated RAID data recovery jobs, it’s almost always the case that the individual who tried to recover the problem on his own fails to reveal all the mistakes they made in the process. Knowing exactly what has happened with a RAID failure is an incredibly important part of the recovery process. Getting incomplete or false information makes the recovery more time consuming and sometimes impossible. If you are a tech responsible for making mistakes, know that most data recovery companies would gladly agree to keep any information confidential that can lead to a successful recovery. The important thing that we care about is getting accurate information. We have no incentive to throw anyone under the bus, and we have every incentive to do whatever it takes to get the information we need. How many rebuilds took place, what kind of rebuilds, and any other mistakes or accidents that happened are crucially important to know.
